National Injustice: The Ongoing Legal Murder of American Innocents
From whence is the moral prerogative of a government that allows the killing of fifty million unborn babies? How can judgment be properly pronounced when such incredible injustice is allowed to occur? How can any judgment put forth by our courts even be considered just when the most innocent and helpless of our society are butchered on a daily basis? The fact is, American justice is no longer the beacon of justice it once was. No one has the right to make moral judgments if they agree with the killing of innocents. It is very interesting that some will fight furiously to protect the practicing of specific and causal sinful activity while also fighting for the practice of mass murder.
Oh, right. It’s not mass murder. An unborn baby is just a gob of flesh and fluid. Yet many, many premature babies, some born months early, have survived into adulthood and are perfectly healthy. There is no need in this short article to delve into all the statistics that continually refute the arguments of the baby killer advocates. The point is, infants are being killed left and right with no remedy. There is no justice for them.
Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent and slew all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi. Then what had been spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “A VOICE WAS HEARD IN RAMAH, WEEPING AND GREAT MOURNING, RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN; AND SHE REFUSED TO BE COMFORTED, BECAUSE THEY WERE NO MORE.” [Matthew 2:16-18]
This terrible historical incident was perpetrated by an evil idiot intent on protecting his throne from a possible usurper, who just happened to be a baby. There is no complete data to give one a complete picture of the carnage, but suffice it to say that many hundreds and perhaps thousands of innocent youngsters were put to the sword by government decree.
Baby killing has only been legal in this great country for less than forty years, and again, over fifty million have been killed. And it appears that no one cares. Presidents refuse to stand up for them. The Supreme Court has turned their back on them. The House of Representatives has done effectively nothing in their defense. Where should the innocents turn? Who will fight on their behalf? There are many organizations in the country advocating for their cause and against the right to murder the unborn, but so far, our government remains unconvinced. Our government continues to allow the practice. We the People keep sending representatives to Washington D.C. and nothing ever happens.
The simple fact is not enough people care. The heart of this nation has grown cold to their plight.
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.” [Matthew 24:7-12]
The national media has very successfully hidden the holocaust of babies. Laws have been passed to limit the advocating of life. Innocent advocates of the unborn have been robbed of their constitutional rights, penalized, fined, and even imprisoned. It has become ever more difficult to shine a light on the wicked practice. But a light is shining. The question before us remains, however—will we as a nation ever come out of our darkness? The blood of fifty million innocents cries out to God for justice. Their lives were shattered and ruined. They will never have the opportunity to live as we do.
The LORD descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the LORD. Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished… [Exodus 34:5-7]
There’s a slow train coming. Judgment is on the way. National repentance is the only cure.

A true event, a scar on our nation’s history. I have no idea when we became a dead country, but we are. Paul is clear on this point, when a nation allows same sex marriages it is dead, not dying, dead. I suspect it happened long before our lives started, here in the USA. We were founded by Christians, who risked their lives to give us this. In no time at all… Indians killed for land, blacks sold into servitude, Satan’s millstone around our necks… for a very long time as a nation. We as Christians enlisted as soldiers, I suggest this battle plan: We have weapons (Love, a Bible, the Word of God, and the full blessing of Jesus). All we need is to put on our shoes! We start small. Our towns, cities, counties, then states, then even government. It is not too late. Return glory to God, He will see us through. Then these tragic things can lay in the past. Lives are beings lost now, to choice, hunger, and even exposure. I say let’s pray, and put on our shoes…
I do not believe we are a dead country. Far from it, though I certainly understand your point. There has always been a viable Christian witness in the world—those who obey the teachings of the Lord. It is the same in America. Though we are presently beset with many national problems, I believe great days are ahead. We have always had times of substantial sin, and have often corrected such. There have been times of national repentance when the Lord not only heard our prayer, but helped us to change our behavior and outlook. Our present circumstance is tied to the same central issue as those of the past: As a nation, we have drifted far from God and have consequently subscribed to some seriously evil and ungodly practices. The prophet Isaiah said, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” In so many ways, things are upside down and backward. But like yourself, I remain very optimistic for a national turnaround. I believe the love that has grown cold will revive, that many will be made free, and that our unborn will be allowed to live. Thanks for an inspiring comment.
I still believe we are a dead nation, by our framers intent. It was made my man, therefore imperfect. It can be put back together by God, OT has examples of this. You and I have pointed out people are dying. I hate to see their numbers grow, but am sure Jesus will speak for them. For the Kingdom of Heaven was made for them, and us too, if we can become as children, that we are. Does not matter what the question is….. The love Jesus instructed us to share as brothers is the answer.
I agree that judgement is on the way. In fact the beginnings of it are already here. I have only met one woman in my life who believed that it wasn’t a baby, it was just a blob of tissue. She was one of my supervising nurses and she had just miscarried. Both she and her husband said to everyone: “What’s the big deal, it’s just a blob of tissue.” I was so horrified that I couldn’t think of a thing to say in reply. And this was a miscarriage, not an abortion. When you think of the number of innocent babies that have been slaughtered, it should turn your stomach over and yet most of us go on with our lives as if nothing ever happened. You are right, the blood of these babies cries out for justice. We must fall on our faces and repent.
I agree with you that our nation is not totally dead. There is still a remnant that seek to serve the Lord with their whole hearts. And, they are starting to wake up and unapologetically take their place in the
Kingdom. I believe that those who have thought they were walking alone, are beginning to find that there are others out there just like themselves. God is beginning to bring them together from all over this country.
Thank you for your “straight talk” about this subject and the Gospel. It is appreciated more than you know.
