Dear Readers: Thank you for all your support this year. I believe the content in this current series is indispensible regarding the coming Great Awakening in America. We must all grow closer to the Lord Jesus. He must be exalted in this nation. His real identity must be known. Christian persecution will continue rising in America in 2016 and we must all be prepared. Please help make this current series reach as many believers as possible. Be blessed!

“When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I AM…” [John 8:28 NAB]

The Lord Jesus often taught in parables. If one did not have “eyes to see” and “ears to hear” one would not understand. One would not be able to receive revelation knowledge from the Lord. Period.

This parabolic and allegorical teaching approach contrasts sharply with historical and current methods of Christian teaching. The reason why is fairly obvious, though several theories are presented.

One theory consists of the basic difference between Eastern and Western thought. It is said that the Western method of teaching and gaining knowledge consists primarily of using the brain, the intellect, the mind, rational thinking, and the use of facts and figures. The Eastern method of learning primarily uses the heart.

This is a big difference. Since the Lord Jesus used the heart method, we can see that Western Christian thought has diverted from His original approach. This is why the vast majority of Christians are dependent on their brains. They have bypassed the heart. One can never fully know the Lord using the Western method.

Knowledge from God comes in two principle ways. It comes the way anyone gains knowledge, through what may be termed the regular or standard teaching process in which one learns by receiving facts from teachers and books, and through study of known references and established theories.

Yet, when dealing with the Lord Jesus, one must go beyond such a limited method. Western Christian thought does not and has never felt comfortable with this. The Lord’s original method is perceived as too open-ended. The student is given too much latitude. The student is allowed to be an independent critical thinker. Such allowances are anathema within the confines of limited and structured teachings methods.

In the West facts and figures prevail. People have been trained to receive and deposit facts like little mini-computers or small libraries, and then access such facts when necessary. This takes a lot of work. When one gains a large amount of knowledge and it is all neatly filed away, one has a decided tendency to never check such “facts” for error based on new discoveries. It is a terrible thing when religious institutions and the people thereof become invested in untruth since they refuse new revelation from God.

In the East, since the gaining of knowledge is based on the heart and not the mind, a much different dynamic is relied upon. There is a fluidity in one’s thinking which allows for input from one’s heart, and this is what the Lord was seeking to tap into. He was attempting to relate with others on a heart to heart level.

One may wonder, then, how one can prove such facts to be correct. Whereas in Western thought, there need be no actual three-dimensional proof of spiritual facts, in Eastern thought such proofs are demanded. In other words, when the Lord taught about spiritual principles and spiritual cause and effect He had to back it up. Western Christianity in general does not and never has subscribed to this method, largely because it appears too open ended and even spacey. “There must be a foundation!” Its proponents argue, yet they never argue for the real spiritual evidence of the originals.

Such theological brainiacs would have quickly grown exasperated with the Lord’s heart method of teaching. They simply cannot relate to knowing the Lord by revelation, as did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Moses:

And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “You have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and all his servants and all his land; the great trials which your eyes have seen, those great signs and wonders.

“Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear.” [Deuteronomy 29:2-4]

Moses spoke these words to the nation of Israel toward the very end of its wanderings in the Sinai. For forty years the Lord took care of them but the entire first generation that left Egypt, save for two men, still did not KNOW Him. They had no heart to KNOW, nor eyes to see, not ears to hear. They did not KNOW and they did not see or hear because the Lord did not give them the ability. They had no revelatory knowledge of God or of spiritual things.

From this we can easily understand that such abilities are GIFTS from God. Like salvation, which can never come by our own works, abilities, or knowledge, no one can gain access to God, no one can KNOW God, and no one can possess eyes to see and ears to hear unless the Lord GIVES a person such revelatory knowledge and ability.

In the above passage we can see that the Lord did not give that first generation of the nation of Israel in the Sinai such ability or knowledge. Why?

The very simple answer is: THEIR HEARTS WERE NOT RIGHT.

Yet subsequent generations of Israelites were blessed by the Lord with the ability to KNOW God according to then present revelation, as well as spiritual eyes and ears. But by the time Messiah arrived such knowledge and ability was largely gone:

“Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,

Their problem was a HEART problem. Their hearts had become “dull.” This word is defined as “thick, fat, stupid, dull, and callous.” Even though their minds might have been sharp as tacks, they were completely oblivious toward spiritual things. And because of that they had NO KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.

Like the majority of Western “Christians” they did not know God but only possessed an ill-defined concept of God based on mere human knowledge and mental assent. If one would KNOW God, really KNOW Him, such things will never suffice.

It is why the official “Trinity Doctrine” was invented 1700 years ago, three centuries after the original teachings of the Lord Jesus. The dull-hearted religious clergyites that created it, based on the ancient concept of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman triads, were high-minded, arrogant, philosophical, spiritual lame brains with absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of God. They had no revelatory knowledge whatsoever. The Lord Jesus had not granted them that because their hearts were wrong, dull, and fat. And until they got their hearts right before God they would stay spiritually stupid.

This is why they invented teachings that supplanted the Lord’s original teachings. And most of all, it is why they created a brand new “Christian Triad.” It came straight from their polluted brains. In doing this they completely violated the first three commandments:

The nation of Israel, in its fallen state, had done the same thing. Rather than get right with God and receive by revelation His real identity, they created their own false concept of God.

The following is the Lord’s response to their idolatry:

What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; just as it is written,

I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. [Romans 11:7-11]

This exact dynamic is currently taking place with reference to the artificial and dull-hearted lords of Unreal Christianity and their followers who worship a god of their own creation, and the Lord’s real disciples whom the Lord Jesus has raised up to make the clueless Christians jealous.

It is why the socially acceptable proponents of traditional Christianity hate and resist anything the Lord does to bring greater light and power to His people.

It is also why they want no part of the coming Great Awakening in America and will be its greatest resistors: The Lord’s revelatory knowledge will destroy them.

It was the same way in the first century between the Pharisees and the Lord and His followers.

It was exactly the same in the fourth century between the new Christian Pharisees and real Christians.

         It is the same today.

Those with dull spiritual hearts do not KNOW the real identity of Jesus.

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. [Psalm 24:3-5] [1]

  1. This post is at once challenging, enlightening and rewarding. I am humbly thankful the Spirit has instilled within me an open heart to the truth of God’s Word and that every day I see The Word in a new Light. I had never thought about some “Christians” being jealous of those who have “Clean hands and a pure heart” that has been provided by the Spirit of the Lord Jesus. Of course Heart-felt Faith must come into play in order to receive His Righteousness. I recall God’s promise to Abram in Gen. 15:2-6 NKJV…..a wonderful example of how He reveals his promises to man.

2 Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what will You give me, since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 And Abram said, “Since You have given no offspring to me, one born in my house is my heir.”4 Then behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.” 5 And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” 6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness; and, as you so apply quoted: “Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. [Psalm 24:3-5]….It’s one of my favorite passages.

Thank you Bob for His Faithful Revelation in this Blog.

  2. Maria, a gentle iconoclast

Mr. Dawson, I disagree with you totally.

  3. Hello brother! I am in complete agreement regarding Deut. 29:4, Isaiah 6:9-10, and Matt. 13:11-15: revelation comes to our hearts, not our minds via reasoning. The fall of man came via reasoning! The heart is where the Spirit of God is, for God is love. This is key!

Your central theme that “God is not three people” appears to me to be ignorant of some Scripture. A key Scripture that comes to my mind is Matthew 28:18-20, especially verse 19, in which Jesus names three persons into whom disciples are to be baptized. I am not a Greek scholar or a theologian, but given that every translation I find names the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit/Ghost, it appears that all the ancient witnesses state this (numerous translations are provided in this link

Forgive me if this is addressed later on in the series.

    • Thank you for the comment, Deanna. I appreciate you reading so many of my posts and liking them, and for your agreement. You could fill a library with the books written on this subject. I say that because one must understand that the subject is very deep and requires much knowledge, both Biblical and historical, to properly sort out, but it mostly demands revelatory knowledge directly from the Lord.

I suggest that before calling my Biblical knowledge into question, it would be good if you would at least read the entire ten-part series I have presented instead of simply three parts of the ten. Many of my readers, some of whom consider themselves Trinitarians, have read the articles and liked them. I certainly admit this series only contains a limited review of the subject matter, but there is enough therein to prove the point. I also suggest that you take ample time to study and pray, and seriously seek the Lord on the issue.

By calling me ignorant of Scripture because I do not believe that God is three people or that the Bible teaches such, it is apparent that you do believe that God is three people. But the Lord Jesus never said that God is three people in Matthew 28:19. This is something read into the verse by a Trinitarian mindset. In fact, in this verse the Lord Jesus claimed only one Name for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, not three names. In the Book of Acts we clearly see that this one Name was the only Name ALWAYS administered in water baptism—the Name of Jesus. Therefore, Jesus (YHWH-Salvation) is the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Keep in mind that Christian anti-Semitism was formerly rampant and still exists, and that the Jewish people have always been disparaged by the people of other religions primarily because they held fast, in the ancient pagan world of multiple deities, to the REVELATION that there is only ONE GOD. Trinitarians who believe that God is three people must also believe that the ancient Hebrew patriarchs and prophets got it wrong, or that Trinitarian Christians are seeing things much more clearly than them, which is beyond ridiculous.

The Trinity Doctrine did not exist for three entire centuries after God became a Man and dwelt among us. The Lord Jesus NEVER ascribed to such a doctrine. In saying that, one must understand that the issue is not so clear cut, however, because, though there is only one classic historical Trinity Doctrine, the one formed in 325AD, there are many variations of the trinity idea that Christians possess and there are various levels of understanding on the matter. Some Christians actually believe that God is three people. Other Christians believe that God is somehow three but they lack a full understanding of the threeness. They acknowledge the threeness but don’t go so far as to say that God is three people. Some Christians believe that the one God has manifested Himself in three primary ways. Therefore, I am not denying the threeness of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

If you asked ANY of the Hebrew patriarchs or prophets, whom the Lord God used to bring forth the truth of ONE GOD into the world, maintain it, enforce it, and hold fast to it, about this subject, they would be shocked that later generations of apparent believers would somehow fall back into the multi-deity trap even if it was characterized with a nonsensical “three-in-one” equation. The Hebrew patriarchs and prophets never taught that God is a “trinity of persons” in their entire ancient history and still do not, which should prove to all at least in part that the Trinity Doctrine was made up out of vain reasoning using a dull intellect incapable of embracing spiritual truth which can only come by divine revelation.

The ultimate parable of all parables taught by the Lord Jesus involved the very nature of God and who He—the Lord Jesus—really is. Like all parables, the truth within the parable can only come forth by revelation. Otherwise, people just make stuff up to satisfy their reasoning, teach people the stuff they made up, these teach the next generation, and it keeps getting passed down as fact.

Regarding His many parables, in fact, the Lord Jesus was seemingly unconcerned if some people could not grasp the truth He was teaching because they had no eyes to see or ears to hear. He was not frantic to give them such eyes and ears. He taught in such a way that those who got it got it and those who didn’t didn’t. For example, the Pharisees and Torah teachers of His time for the most part did not get it. They could not receive. They had no spiritual eyes or ears. If it stopped there it would be one thing, a much lesser thing, but they then created much greater sin by creating their own teachings which were contrary to the pure Word. Their teachings satisfied their minds and intellect but brought confusion upon the people. They then took it a step further by actually BLOCKING people from further truth by insisting that everyone must believe their false ideologies. The Lord Jesus continually rebuked them for that. A few came around. Most never did.

“Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering.” [Luke 11:52]

Now, here’s the big question: Why did the many hundreds of thousands of Jewish people in the first century AD who believed wholeheartedly in the revelatory knowledge that GOD IS ONE prior to their acceptance of the Lord Jesus as Messiah accept the Lord Jesus as Messiah? The Lord Jesus claimed to be God on countless occasions, though most did not understand. He hid His true identity in this sense on purpose. If they knew there was only one God and that the Lord Jesus claimed to be God then it is obvious that they understood that Jesus is the one God. They never turned God into three people. Again, this was a much later construct made up by spiritual dunderheads with an agenda to create a universal, hybrid, syncretic religion mixing Christianity with paganism. The Roman world was fully steeped in the idea of three-god triads in 325AD as it had been close to its founding a thousand years before. Therefore, the strange concept that God was “three people in one God” was readily embraced by most because it in part satisfied their multi-god pagan thinking.

The Trinity Doctrine has thus been read into Scripture and applied to Scripture by most Christians without fully testing its validity. Like so many things “Christian,” most Christians simply accept whatever they are taught wherever they may be as if anything coming down from a pulpit is correct, even though there exists millions of pulpits staffed by millions of speakers with millions of contradictory variations of “Christian” teaching. It is therefore up to each individual believer to read and study the Word of God and find the truth on his or her own as led by the Lord. But the greatest truth to be sought after is the true identity of the Lord Jesus.

      Be blessed.
