On January 22, 1973, in by far the worst legal verdict in the history of the United States, the Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision, legalized in-womb baby killing.

Since then, sixty million American babies have been terminated in an ongoing wholesale slaughter. Unless one purposely pays very close attention and puts a lot of work into searching for the facts, this vile practice goes completely unreported in all the major news outlets or is characterized as a human right with no regard whatsoever for the babies’ rights. Are they not Americans also? Does not the Constitution and Bill of Rights apply to them as well? Without the gross intervention of ghoulish womb-invaders, 99% of these babies would all continue to develop to full term. Therefore, the destructive intervention of in-womb baby killing is the antithesis of a benign act and constitutes the termination of life.

Even so, most Americans question whether or not the natural, God-given rights of these babies were violated. Go figure. This has resulted in another obvious consequence of the vile practice, that of wholesale brainwashing among the larger populace: The majority has been convinced that there is nothing wrong with abortion, that it is not a sin, that it is not murder, that it is not the termination of life. Yet, the process involves a baby safely in the womb on the way to becoming what all of us presently are, and then he or she is ripped apart, thrown in the trash, and becomes “medical waste.” Because this practice is conducted in secret it is deemed a non-event. It never happened. Even if it happened sixty million times.

In January of 1973 the United States population was 211 million. At present it is approximately 325 million. In those 44.5 years the population has officially grown by 114 million. But 60 million have been aborted. This means, since the abortion decision, over one third of the American population has been eliminated. One out of every three people is missing. Why are there so few advocates on major platforms fighting for the unborn babies? Why don’t we ever hear about this incredible destruction of human life in the mainstream media, on public service announcements, in great speeches by U.S. Congressmen and Senators? Or Supreme Court Justices? Cannot one advocate be found among these people?

I discovered the following economic judgment pattern and wrote about it in an article I posted in early March of 2009. I cannot prove that abortion is causing these ongoing economic downturns, but the pattern started in 1973. Approximately every nine years it strikes again, right on schedule. The severity of each judgment may be somewhat lessened based on Christian prayer, repentance, actively seeking the Lord Jesus, and proactively speaking out in public. There have certainly been times when much more of this was going on. There are some who continue to do this presently and they should be greatly commended.

It could very well be that America is being hit with nationwide economic judgment every nine years as an ongoing wake-up call to face the evil of abortion and end it, in part because it is causing a slow destruction of the country, and it could be that each judgment, according to Biblical models, is more severe than the former based on the nation’s closeness or distance from God.

As I stated in Part 2, The Third Sign: It’s Déjà Vu All Over Again:

The number nine is the Biblical number of finality or judgment.

What follows are the dates which set everything off and the chart I created in 2009, with the brief descriptions of each recession I wrote at the time. I have included embedded links for further study and verification. Please judge for yourself and draw your own conclusions:

1. Roe v. Wade Argued Before the Supreme Court: December 13, 1971

2. Roe v. Wade Reargued Before the Supreme Court: October 11, 1972

3. Roe v. Wade Decided by the Supreme Court: January 22, 1973

1973             1973-1975            1973 Oil Crisis, 1973-1974 Stock Market Crash, Recession

1982             1980-1982           Continued Fallout from 1973 and 1979 Oil Crises, Recession

     1991             1990-1991           Savings & Loan Collapse, Energy/RE Slump, Recession

2000            2000-2001           Collapse of Dot Com Bubble, Sept 11 Attacks, Recession

2009            2007-2009           Housing Market Collapse, Stock Market Crash, Recession

     2018               ?   –   ?                                                     ?

As you can see, the current nine years is almost up. I have spelled out very clearly what happened last time around during the 2007-2009 recession in Part 1 of this series, Economic Crash and Burn. Whatever the immediate future holds, we are way beyond the point of mere coincidence regarding the nine year pattern detailed very clearly in the above chart. The “third sign” is for real and for you it is no longer hidden.

“For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” [Luke 8:17] [1]

  1. It seems the “abortion industry” profits off of the “backs” of the unborn if my gut instinct is correct that they use anti-aging fetal stem cells, selling body parts and experimenting with life for the elite super-wealthy? filled with pride and lust of the eye and flesh including those of hollywood that are paid to look “young and beautiful”; no one OF Christ could justify the stealing, killing and destroying of life; only the father of lies would push this abomination and call it “choice”
but it is true that there is no freedom of choice for life without Christ’s forgiveness and redemption in us through the blood of the Lamb of God.

Spirit of Truth, lead us all into The Truth. Amen.

Thank goodness for your verse, ““For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” [Luke 8:17]

    • Greatly appreciate it, Yvonne. Excellent comment.

When it all gets said and done and the hidden secrets are revealed, it will astonish the majority who have allowed themselves to become deceived by not seeking the absolute truth. Compromises are made, truth is shunned, and spiritual blindness ensues (in this case, on a massive scale). Also, those who have sold out to this world and forfeited the next are always subject to doing anything—ANYTHING—to gratify their present desires. This would involve, of course, the sacrificing of innocent human beings, something that has gone on from the beginning of mankind’s history in various forms and to often extremely high levels, for the benefit of the few in control. What humans to better sacrifice than the most innocent with no voice?

      This vile practice must stop.

We will find out soon if the heart of the nation has turned toward the proper level of repentance or if it will be Déjà Vu all over again.

      Blessings to you!

  2. Speaking of abortion and God’s judgment. I believe the Lord may judge the town of Jackson, Wyoming in the near future. The Lord has had me hitchhike through Jackson many times over the years; I have always wondered why. I believe my life of obeying the Lord was a witness against that town. This is from my High Plains Drifter blog:

    Get Out of Jackson, Wyoming!

“Back in June of this year, the Lord had me hitchhike into Jackson, Wyoming. I was there for about an hour when the Lord told me to ‘Get out!’

“Maybe this means that the Lord is going to destroy Jackson, Wyoming. I think Jackson is the most wicked town in the United States. There are a lot of lukewarm churches, enviro-pagans and an abortion clinic in Jackson.”

    • Thanks for the comment, Tim, and for reading. Of course, the Lord is going to do whatever He must do whenever He must do it. He is the only qualified judge. Sin must be judged and will be. But His first desire is summed up in these verses from long ago which remain in effect until the end:

“Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.” [Acts 17:30-31]

Keep up the great work! Be blessed.

    • Thank you, Lisa. Yes, you are right, and the country better do something quick. I will be saying more about this very soon regarding the immediate future and what America must do. I believe there are very good things happening and that we are being blessed with an opportunity. The Lord Jesus is so very gracious.

Great blessings to you and your family.

Thank you, RJ. Yesterday as I read this the first time, I had an epiphany. I had an abortion in 1974. I have been forgiven, it’s under the blood. When I became a Christian, I shared that secret with my closest Christian mentors. God has truly blessed me with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I never had a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage). In 2007, I attended a “Solemn Assembly” in Nashville where I witnessed and participated in fasting, confession, repentance and intercession for our nation. I belong to a church that once participated in “Pro-Life Sunday” recognition of the anniversary of Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision and even went to Washington, D.C. to march (my almost grown at the time son & I rode a bus and marched together). We once had a Pastor that was so passionate about holiness and exposing the deeds of darkness, he showed a video during a Sunday evening “Pro-Life Sunday” in my church of aborted babies. Half of us cheered him on and there were some that vilified him for doing so. I am sure those who vilified him were much more vocal than those who supported him. Now here was my epiphany: I have never publicly shared (other than in Nashville, which was, in reality, anonymous) that I have had an abortion and spoken out against it. I cannot criticize church leaders and others for not taking a strong stand when I have not done more! How many of us are out there?

    • Thank you. I can’t help but weep when reading your comment. I appreciate so much what you have lovingly and tenderly said here, and I am sure many of our readers do also.

The first decision we make as real Christians is the greatest and best, and foundational to all else that we will ever achieve for the Lord. It is when we decide to give our entire heart and life for all time to the one who paid with everything He had to give His life for us. We make the decision due to the recognition that we have sinned and have done wrong and want to be free and want to live right, and knowing there is someone who is willing to accept us as we are, take us in, make us His children and part of His family, and give us all that we need. There is no other possible way to do this than to turn to Him who paid the price and shed His own blood, the blood that continues to cleanse us every day.

The babies that were never born are with Him and they have no hard feelings for anyone, especially their mothers and fathers. They are all in a good place!

It is often hard to perceive spiritual reality in the material world of sight and sound with so much coming at us every day. Without a strong attempt to see and hear, and have “eyes and ears,” we cannot. But again, it begins with joining up with the Lord. Proper repentance allows Him to cleanse our hearts and we become free of the past. This is so much a part of what His love is about in that He is always willing to help us and forgive us and bless us with real Life.

You are a great witness of His love. Thank you again for sharing your story. I am thankful there are many millions who are strong advocates for life and some have dedicated their lives for this purpose. Great blessings to you.
