JESUS DESTROYS COMMUNITY DIVISION: ALL REAL CHRISTIANS ARE EQUAL AND SHARE IDENTICAL ACCESS TO THE LORD

The Lord Jesus taught us that only He must be in charge. Most Christian leaders reject that directive. This is part of the reason why an alternative form of Christianity was created long ago.

.

Only the Lord Jesus is worthy of praise. Unless anyone out there has done what He did no one else qualifies. Yet we continue to have the equivalent of bowing before religious leaders and kissing their rings as if they somehow managed to grab a hold of something higher than the rest of us and land upon a leadership summit denied to everyone else. In reality, of course, no such place exists within His Community and never has.

But for any readers out there not yet familiar with this blog and the faithful readers who have supported it for many years, you might have a problem with this simple fact. I say this because in many Christian circles this idea of a higher spiritual class with an extremely small qualified membership continues to persist. Nothing has changed concerning this concept except the surface facade, in that many of these have assumed casual dress and contemporary speech as a way to falsely bridge the gap or appear more relatable. Notwithstanding the Biblical directive to the contrary, people are still drawn to leaders who seem to have it all together but the greater part of their standing is based on mere appearance, and as I have said many times before, appearance is everything.

Substance matters little. Before we go further, I will insert a single passage of Scripture to prove my point, though I could list many others. From this one passage we can see very clearly the truth the Lord taught in the beginning that has since been rejected by you know who:

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise. [Galatians 3:26-29]

In this single Scriptural passage lies the pure truth of a radical new paradigm and community association model which thoroughly destroys the concept of any clergy-laity class divide or pyramidal leadership model based on a dominating upper class wresting all control at the very top. In this one passage, taught very clearly to the apostle Paul by the Lord Jesus, exists the following:

ONE:

There is absolutely no distinction whatsoever between what Paul refers to as Jew and Greek, otherwise known as Jew and Gentile. And within either there is no distinction based on race or nationality. In the Lord’s Community both Jews and Gentiles have exactly equal standing. There are thus (1) Believing Jews and Gentiles and (2) Unbelieving Jews and Gentiles. Inclusion in the Community is based only on faith in the Lord Jesus. Among those who follow the Lord there is no difference in status. However, many Christian Zionists will disagree with Paul on this point, as they believe it is possible to be a Jew and still be saved without the Lord Jesus, or that a Jew somehow has higher standing in the Lord’s Community.

TWO:

If you are a slave or a free man it makes absolutely no difference to your place in the Lord’s Community. You are both absolutely equal. There are no class differences based on socio-economic status. Though we no longer have the high level of forced slavery in the world today as it existed then, slavery still exists in many countries all across the planet and forms of indentured servitude run rampant. This is especially true in dominating oppressive states which strongly fight real Christianity. For those of us who live in relatively free countries, we owe it to our Christian brothers and sisters in such countries to help fight for their freedom.

THREE:

There is absolutely no difference whatsoever between male and female in the Community of the Lord. Both are equal. While this point may no longer be as radical as it once was in the free world, it was certainly radical when Paul wrote it and continued to be throughout history and most of the world. On the Day of Pentecost there were obviously both men and women among the 120 who were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in languages they had never learned. Among the women there who engaged in the practice was Mary, the Lord’s mother. Christian women might want to acknowledge this. Catholic women might want to especially acknowledge this. We have much knowledge of the role played by women in the early Church. They were often those who made their houses available for spiritual meetings, which was a very dangerous practice in those times. (Remember, there were no official “church buildings” for three centuries and real Christianity was illegal.)

CLERGY-LAITY DIVISIONS DISRESPECT THE LORD

As an associative point in this discussion, the clergy class came into existence based primarily on economic opportunity and thus education level. This notion continues to persist in that only few Christians apparently have a high enough education level required to be a member of today’s clergy (regardless of denomination). Almost everyone else, regardless of their education level or spiritual standing, accept this class division as Gospel truth when it is clearly no such thing. Thus, the 99% for the most part sit passively and silently in the pews and are completely on their own as individuals, as opposed to the very small higher class which mans all the pulpits and collects all the donations. Why more Christians do not see this otherwise obvious violation of Scripture attests to its long-held traditional standing and inherent subterfuge. It exists to keep the majority of Christians uneducated, silent, out of the spiritual workforce, and to serve the clergy class rather than the Lord.

SERVANT LEADERS

And there arose also a dispute among them as to which one of them was regarded to be greatest. And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who have authority over them are called ‘Benefactors.’ But it is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant.” [Luke 22:24-26] [1]

The Lord Jesus taught that all of His children are on equal footing. There are no distinctions and no class divisions. He created no clergy or laity. He created no church or denominational hierarchies. If anything at all, those members of His Community with more authority, which is based only on greater spiritual maturity, are subjected to greater servanthood. In other words, they pay a higher price in blood, sweat, and tears. Perhaps this is why so many Christians want nothing to do with ministry.

Yet, EVERY SINGLE REAL CHRISTIAN IS CALLED TO SOME FORM OF MINISTRY. To reject one’s calling is a sin, and unrepentant sin causes a big relational problem with the Lord and one another, and will eventually cause one to lose one’s soul.

The institutional clergy refutes the fact that all are called to serve because its members want to corner the market (and have). Once the majority of such people gain control they then manage to not even answer their own callings, if they ever did to begin with. Thus, the entire process results in removing pretty much everybody from real Christian service.

And we wonder why Unreal Christianity is failing…

    • Thank you Gary. Awesome illustration. It is a tremendous honor for all of us to serve the Lord first and one another in the way He intended. We must release the power of this juggernaut. Great blessings to you.

    • Thank you so much Lynn. We are each called to be part of a purposeful living landscape composed of surrendered souls saved by God’s grace, accepting our places of service, working together, and striving to excel. Be wonderfully blessed.

  4. Reblogged this on Richard’s Watch and commented:

This scripture was one of several similar ones in my discussions yesterday about arrogant, self-appointed heresy-hunters, or modern-day Inquisitors, who sit in judgement and condemn their brethren in Christ. They watch out for and denounce division whereas actually fomenting it, thereby serving only to further the strategies of the accuser of the brethren!

    • Thank you very much Richard, my good friend across the pond.

Christianity in general has suffered from division disease not long after the beginning, as various adherents drifted away from the Lord’s perfect direction and began movements of their own. Each somehow came up with a different point of doctrine or variation of interpretation. It is why the only solution, one I have been advocating for my entire career, is to return to the beginning and adopt the exact teachings of the Lord and the early first-century Community. It is, in essence, and in the spiritual sense, going back in time through the use of powerful spiritual telescopes to the beginning of creation to discover how it was then and how they did it then. What happened in that Upper Room and shortly thereafter has changed the world like nothing else ever has and the “universe” that began then is still expanding outward from that point. Here is a quote from my book:

“A long time ago in an upper room far, far away, 120 people got real. Within a matter of days, their number had increased to several thousand. After only a few years, the community had spread far and wide, achieving phenomenal growth well into the tens of thousands of members, each person having a purpose and each very real. Over the next few centuries, however, another assemblage emerged. Its characteristics were strikingly different. It did not possess the powerful testimony of the earlier group. Miraculous happenings were very few and far between. Its varied teachings were impure and often incomprehensible, and the active participation of every member in ministry was not emphasized. As a result, the great love and concern for one’s fellow believer held in high regard by the originals was greatly lacking, and its unity was coerced. And sadly, gone in this assembly was the total dependence and trust in the Lord Jesus, His dominion being replaced by that of others.” © 2001 by R.J. Dawson. • Exactly so RJ. I’m of opinion that as soon as the gospel according to John went into circulation then satan’s strategy would be to thwart Jesus’ prayer at John 17:20-23!

        • “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.”

  5. A dream and 2 visions come to mind when I read this post.

The body Building Itself Up in Love

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

I had a vision today as I was driving home. In the vision I saw something similar to a vision I saw in March of 2010 which I will post below to give a sense of what I am about to describe.

I saw in a vision, many people and as they gathered they became like living stones in the temple wall. The wall did not keep people out, instead, as people came to the living wall, they became part of it. The building, if you will, had walls created by people joining together to worship the Lord, however, the building had no roof. Instead, it’s covering was the glory of God and it was His glory spilling out over the walls, because the glory of God cannot be contained, that was drawing people.

In the vision I saw today October 30 2015, I saw something similar to what I saw 5 years ago with some additions. In the second vision I again saw the people only this time as the people gathered, they began to climb on top of one another so that they were standing upon each others shoulders. One person would come in and then another would come up to him/her and the one already standing there would help the other up onto his/her shoulders. This kept repeating and the people kept coming and climbing upon the shoulders of the ones standing and the also the shoulders of those already standing upon shoulders.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

It is worthy of note that Apostles and Prophets are the foundation, i.e., the bottom. They helped the others climb up and form the wall. The leaders were on the bottom, the more authority given, the lower they were. The job of leadership is to equip the saints.

I did not see in the vision any fighting over position. All were helping the other climb starting with those lowest, the apostles and prophets.

The End of the Church As We Know It….. A Second Dream

I had a dream 02/17/2014 and in the dream I was what seemed to be a home group. I say a home group because I got the sense that this group was attached to a church that met in a building. In the dream We were discussing various things but it is when I began to tell people about a dream I had in January of 2010 that people began to leave and I was left with no one in the room to tel my dream to. No one said to me to stop telling my dream or that they weren’t interested in hearing it, they just left and went about their business like I had never said anything about the end of the church. I am posting the dream that I had back in 2010 below.

Let me share a dream I had. In the dream, I saw a wooden coffin and inside the coffin, I saw a church with 2 very large pillars outside. also saw the lid of the coffin resting on the knuckles of 2 hands and the hands in turn were resting on the coffin like one would do just
before nailing it shut. So, as you can imagine, there was very little light left in the coffin because of the lid of the coffin being almost on the coffin. Getting back to the church I saw inside the coffin, I saw thousands of people coming out of the church and jumping out of the coffin as fast as they could. However, there were 2 groups of people who refused to leave,
in fact; they had their fists held in the air. These 2 groups were standing by the 2 very large pillars I had seen earlier in my dream. These pillars had names. The name of the first pillar was religion and the name of the second pillar was politics.

The interpretation of the dream was given by Pastor Guy and is as follows:

A coffin is what you bury the dead in. The coffin in your dream is
religious tradition holding the church (the people in the church) in
captivity from following Jesus. The two large pillars outside are the
gods of the church. The hands belonging to the knuckles in which the
lid of the coffin rested on were the hands of the Lord holding the lid
from closing all the way till those who were going to leave this
    traditional church made it out.
The hands which were resting on the coffin like they were about to
shut it was the hands of the spirit of anti christ who was shutting
out the light through lies and deception. This will be a time as the
parrabel in Matt 25 of the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten
    virgins.
The foolish virgins will be those remaining in the coffin and refusing
to repent from their gods of religious politics and accept the life of
Christ. Those coming out of the coffin are those who recognize the end
is here and they came out from among them as God said to do in 2 Cor.
6:14-18. The door is about to shut and be sealed.

Some additional things the Lord showed me John 5:25 NIV84

25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.

Those who hear are the ones coming out of the casket.
The people who standing by the pillars refusing to leave are the ones of whom Jesus says that they are trying to kill Him because there is no room in their hearts for His word. Which is why they did not leave the church in the coffin and why they will try to kill any move of God that would cause people to want to leave the coffin. They prefer the darkness of the coffin where their deeds go unexposed John 3:19-21 NKJV

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be
done so that the church may be built up.

The Lord showed me a vision 02/26/2013 and in this vision I saw people gathered around an oval table. The table was low to the ground so that you had to sit on the floor. The people I saw sitting there around the table each had a piece of a puzzle. As they all worked together, the image on the puzzle began to take shape and when they were finished, the picture was of Jesus Christ. He was the center of the meeting. Each one had to do his part in finishing the puzzle and it was not left to one person to do the work of the group. This is how real relationships are built and what church done Jesus’ way should foster.

    This is church.

The only reason for the gathering of believers was to re-assemble the body of Christ with each part, I.e., the foot, the hand, the eye, etc. doing its part so that the church, Christ’s body on earth may be edified and that Christ may be glorified.

They did not gather because of a charismatic leader, I.e., a pastor.

They didn’t gather because of church programs.

They didn’t gather because of the worship team.

    • Thank you very much Tony, for adding so much to the discussion. It appears Christians are divided regarding that which the New Covenant Scriptures actually reveal and teach, and that which others have appropriated as the New Covenant but is lacking the fullness. As you state, it is clear that we are to be a Body with each person serving a useful function. Indeed, our service is pretty much defined by function according to the gifts and talents we have been granted. When everyone in the congregation, or community, finds their place and fulfills it, we can operate as a team as the Lord intended.

Keep up the great work and be blessed. Thanks again.
