  1. we can’t take anything of our old nature through the narrow gate of Jesus;
    naked are we born again of God by His Water of Life and fiery Spirit, to be clothed with our Lord Jesus Christ: a garment of Salvation, Righteousness and Wedding Garment of Praise and Glory
    there is no going backward; there is nothing but Christ through the narrow Door; my Bridegoom King is all my soul desires
    I am really understanding “forgetting what LIES behind, to press forward, in the upward call of God in Christ”
    nothing of the past is taken through the narrow gate; the pain of loss is only the loss of what God never created us to be; prune away, our Husbandman Vinedresser
    thank you for this message RJ that confirms what God has been revealing to me through the Word and by the Spirit; even the bible study groups I attend are taking the wide road and when I try to speak the Truth in Love they would rather continue believing the mixture this world and religions are feeding them
    In Christ alone I take my stand; on the foundation of the Cross of Jesus I build; I want no other foundation, no other life but the resurrection Life of our King of kings and Lord of lords.
    Abba Father, lead me to a church, a true pastor, and bible study groups that are willing to go through the narrow gate and walk in the Spirit of God. Do they exist in this world? I hope so

    • Thanks Yvonne. There are so many things I could say here and yet I am finding it hard to express my thoughts. I always pray before I respond and ask for the Lord’s anointing and help so I can respond properly and correctly. I am winging it at the moment but trusting the Lord to provide…

      The Word of Truth is a separator. It is often offensive. The devil, of course, hates it, as does this world of man. The third enemy is usually much closer to home and its reaction can be fierce. Unregenerate flesh is exposed by the Lord’s Truth and it can react with emotional violence. Truth attacks personal pride. It attacks religious pride. It tears down strongholds of false teaching and counterfeit doctrines. Thus, faux ministers understand it is far easier to steer clear of clear Truth so as not to ruffle feathers or rock boats. They simply do not care about the future consequences of watered-down teachings and would rather live in the moment.

      Regarding your prayer, such groups certainly exist but often lack the religiously acceptable outer footprint. Think of the Lord and His men in their time. They didn’t fit the mold of official religion and they engaged in practices that appeared to outsiders as strange. I have been reading lately about the early days of Pentecost in America, starting in Topeka, Kansas in 1901, moving through the Houston, Texas area, and then blasting forth with the Azusa Street Revival beginning in 1906. The powerful practices of these people working in concert with the Lord essentially blew apart that which had been commonly accepted by establishment Christianity and caused much division and separation, but it held. It continued on all across the world and has essentially never stopped.

      Many aspects of it were later overly organized and rendered less effective, co-opted by the usual varmints only interested in money, power, and control, and dissipated by a lack of the early obedience to the Lord and willingness to teach the full Truth as demonstrated by the early spiritual pioneers.

      Just as it happened to the early Church, those who stayed true were often forced underground. Keep praying about it and searching. The Lord always provides.

      On a more personal note, I know it’s been about two years this month, right? You have done great. The Lord has blessed you. I am honored to be your friend. Blessings to you Yvonne.
