THE REAL CHOSEN PEOPLE (PART 1)
I wrote and posted this article in March of 2012 as the first of a series. It revealed the New Testament definition of “The Chosen People.” What follows is an updated version.
.
THE REAL CHOSEN PEOPLE (PART 1)
Many Christians have been conditioned to believe that “The Chosen People” are the Jews regardless of whether they honor the Lord Jesus as Messiah or not. Many Christians have been taught that Jews are the only people on Earth who belong to God and will forever belong to God even if they deny that Jesus is their Messiah, if they deny He died to save them from their sins, if they disparage His Name and character, if they actively fight against and oppose real Christianity, especially in Israel, and if they as individuals refuse to repent of their sins and submit to His Lordship.
For some odd reason, many Christians have been taught that the New Testament teachings do not apply to the Jewish people. Why? Simply because they are Jews? News flash: The Lord Jesus loves Jews the same as He loves Gentiles. He died for both. Since this is obviously true, why do so many Christian churches and ministries, especially Christian Zionists, shun or downplay reaching out to Jews for their salvation? Though there certainly are Christian ministries which specialize in reaching out to the Jewish people there is still a strange disconnect in this area that clouds otherwise clear New Testament truth.
As a clear example of what is possible, we are living in a day when Messianic Judaism is very popular and growing. The followers of Messianic Judaism honor Jesus as Messiah. They are still Jews, of course, but believe in and follow the Lord Jesus as did the Ἰουδαῖος of the first century.
Speaking of which, what was the greater fallout of the tumultuous changes of the early-to-mid first century AD? Historically, after the complete destruction of what was left of the Hebrew/Israelite homeland in 70AD when Jerusalem was invaded and destroyed by the Romans and the Temple was completely razed to the ground and burned, there was only one segment of the traditional overall “Judaism” of that time that remained.
The Sadducees ceased to exist since there was no longer any Hebrew/Israelite nation. The Essenes, those likely responsible for the Dead Sea Scrolls, also faded away. Some Hebrew/Israelite nationals held out after Jerusalem was destroyed, comprising segments of the Zealot Party, but committed mass murder against one another and suicide on the heights of Masada in 73/74AD. There were two other large uprisings against the Romans, the largest and last of which was the Bar Kochba Revolt from 132-135AD. After their defeat there was no longer any effective and organized Hebrew/Israelite resistance against the Romans. It was the end of the Zealots.
The Pharisees, however, were the one party that lived on. They did not die out as the other Hebrew/Israelite major religious and political parties had. The same party that gave the Lord Jesus so much trouble during His ministry and fought the apostles at every turn, especially the apostle Paul, never actually ceased to exist. The Pharisees continued as the sole religious representatives of the Hebrew/Israelite people who had rejected the Lord Jesus as Messiah and Savior. They then morphed into what was later known as Talmudic or Rabbinic Judaism.
Again, the Lord Jesus was 100% a Ἰουδαῖος from the Tribe of Judah and a direct descendant within the kingly line of David. The genealogies in the gospels of Matthew and Luke prove this. Also, every original apostle had Hebrew/Israelite ancestral roots and so had every single member of the Community of the Lord we read about in the earliest history of His Movement as recorded in the Book of Acts including the 120 at Pentecost. For seven to ten years after the Resurrection of the Lord, the entire Qahal of the Lord Jesus was composed entirely of Hebrew/Israelite descendants, members of the nation of Israel, and of the twelve tribes. It was not until the salvation of the Gentile Cornelius and his group, as recorded in Acts 10, that the apostles understood that the Lord Jesus wanted non-Hebrew/Israelite Gentiles also to be included among His people and become members of His spiritual Community. Prior to that time, the Hebrew/Israelite followers of Jesus had somehow assumed that only Hebrews/Israelites and full proselytes to the Judaism of that time would qualify for membership in the Lord’s Community.
So here we see the first great division created by the Lord’s ministry, especially after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD, of the Hebrew/Israelite people. One camp saw that Jesus was indeed their long-awaited and hoped-for Messiah and accepted Him fully. The other camp rejected Jesus as Messiah. The camp of rejecters coalesced around the Party of the Pharisees, the lone remaining representatives of overall first-century Judaism. This party has essentially existed throughout history ever since and continued in part as the sole Hebrew organized religious force against Jesus the Messiah.
What happened to the first-century Hebrew/Israelite believers in Jesus? After Cornelius, more and more Gentiles entered the fold of real Christianity. Indeed, the apostle Paul was called by God to be the first and foremost apostle to the non-Hebrew/Israelite Gentiles. Later, at the Jerusalem Council (Acts 15), it was decided by the Jerusalem Hebrew/Israelite believers that Gentiles did not have to undergo all things Torah in order to attain official membership in the Body of Christ. As more Gentiles flooded in, ethnic differences between Hebrew/Israelite and non-Hebrew/Israelite believers were downplayed over time. This did not mean that Hebrew/Israelite followers of Jesus did not retain their unique identity. Such would have been tragic. These first-century Hebrew/Israelite believers in Jesus were descended from the great Patriarchs of the distant past and represented the then-current true Remnant of the nation.
Paul, a Hebrew/Israelite in very high standing, both ethnically (of the Tribe of Benjamin) and religiously (a Pharisee), as well as a solid Roman citizen, wrote this:
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew (Ἰουδαῖος) nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.” [Galatians 3:26-29]
This is a very powerful statement.
From this we know that strict Hebrew/Israelite distinctiveness no longer mattered with respect to membership in the kingdom of God. According to the New Testament, it was no longer an issue to trace one’s physical lineage to Abraham. One can be a descendant of Abraham whether he or she is connected by direct genealogy or not.
Therefore, according to the New Testament and the teachings of the Lord Jesus, which the apostle Paul relayed in the Galatians passage, it is not an ancestral link that makes one a seed of Abraham but a spiritual link by faith according to promise.
However, Hebrew/Israelite non-believers in the Lord Jesus, of course, discounted and rejected this entire notion. They believed it destroys their unique identity. As a result, they hated Paul with the same passion with which they hated the Lord Jesus (How dare these Christian heretics dispose of our status as God’s chosen people!).
Which brings us back to the original point: God’s chosen people, according to the New Testament, are only those who honor the Lord Jesus as Messiah. Yet, even as you read this you probably cringe and think such cannot possibly be true. But it’s right there in your Bible. As is this:
“For he is not a Jew (Ἰουδαῖος) who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew (Ἰουδαῖος) who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.” [Romans 2:28-29]
Throughout the Gospels and New Testament writings we see, then, that the “Chosen People” are those who are in Christ, who embrace the Lord Jesus as the only Messiah and Savior, whose hearts have been circumcised, who are in spiritual relationship with Him, and who submit to His full Lordship.
Though the Hebrew/Israelite people were originally chosen by God as descendants of Abraham in ancient times, the majority of them later rejected God. All one must do is pick up the Old Testament and read a few pages to find that this is true.
However, there has always been a believing Hebrew/Israelite remnant and there were always enough who honored God to keep the ancient nation of Israel intact though diminishing. Israel split in two after Solomon’s death in circa 930BC, the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom went into captivity (circa 722BC) and never returned, effectively ceasing to exist, and only the Southern Kingdom of Judah remained until the first destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 586BC. The land of Judah, which was originally also comprised of the tribes of Levi and Benjamin, was later reconstituted and existed until the time of our Lord as a national entity. After its destruction by the Romans in 70AD it was the end of the Hebrew/Israelite nation. The unbelieving and disobedient had so outnumbered the believing remnant who dutifully followed YHWH prior to the Incarnation and the Lord Jesus afterward that the geographic and religio-political nation ceased to exist.
The Community of the Lord, however, began at the same time once the Messiah was revealed. Therefore, there is no hope for those who reject the Lord Jesus and look for another. There is no other Messiah and never will be. And without Messiah Jesus there is no salvation because He is salvation—it is the very meaning of His Name (YHWH-Salvation):
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people, if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health.
He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” [Acts 4:8-12][1]

I’m concerned with a lot of rhetoric out there about “replacement theology” — which seems to be prevalent in modern Christendom, and which claims that the “church” replaces the “chosen people” and negates God’s Old Testament promises to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I’m running into this thinking a lot in all kinds of guises, and am reminded of the writings of Paul regarding Gentiles being “grafted” into the tree (Israel)…(Romans 11:11-31). This passage speaks of “election” and of the Jews being beloved for the sake of their forefathers…Also, what do you suppose the Apostle Paul meant when he wrote of the mystery of all of Israel being saved? (Romans 11:25-29)

Thanks for reading, Susan. I appreciate your comment. I think it’s best to first simplify the process of gaining such answers by stating clear New Testament facts as our starting basis of reference and foundation. First, the Lord Jesus stated that He is only way to the Father. He is the only Door of salvation. Prior to a person receiving this salvation one has most likely never actually rejected the Lord Jesus (sworn Him off) and is why one remains open to Him and His work of saving his or her soul. This means the Way to the Father remains a good possibility for such a person as does opening the Door of salvation and entering in.
We must remember that it all started with the original people of God which essentially began with Abraham though there was a line of righteous ancestors before him starting with repentant Adam and then his new son Seth (to replace Abel) and eventually on through Noah and later Abram/Abraham from which came the promised miracle seed of Isaac, then Jacob/Israel, his twelve sons/tribes and the resultant nation of Israel. This nation had a covenant with God. Most members of the nation throughout its history violated the covenant but a few kept it and stayed close to God. This was the Remnant. By the time of the Lord Jesus, this relatively small Remnant of covenant keepers and believers were referred to by the Lord as His sheep and that He was sent to locate these sheep and bring them into His new fold. All of these sheep would be classified as descendants of Abraham and as individual members of the nation of Israel.
So there are two things in the works here. The Lord Jesus is in the process of taking the faithful Remnant of His nation of Israel and unifying them into a group or fold of His faithful ones who had maintained as individuals the original covenant made between God and Abraham. Therefore, the original covenant only applies to the faithful ones. It does not apply to the individual members of the nation of Israel who personally violated the covenant and refused to honor and keep it. Yet the Lord Jesus gave every faithless covenant-breaking member of the nation of Israel of His time a golden opportunity to repent and get right with God and restore their rightful membership. He did this first through John the Immerser who was anointed by God to call the entire nation of Israel to repentance. John prophesied that the time of the end of the outward nation of Israel had come and would only last another generation. He made it very clear:
“The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” [Matthew 3:10]
The members of the believing Remnant correctly recognized John as the one with the powerful anointing of Elijah the prophet who would be the forerunner of the Lord’s ministry. They did what he said to do and sealed their repentance of personal sins with water baptism which was a baptism unto repentance. Because they had personal sins and were in the process of dealing with such correctly to the best of their ability it did not mean they were covenant breakers. They proved their desire to be right with God by obeying God through John and getting right with Him/staying right with Him. In the group coming for baptism there were also very likely covenant breakers not at all in any kind of relationship with God who also obeyed John and restored their covenant with God due to John’s ministry. All of this was in preparation of what was to come. It was to prepare hearts for the Lord’s ministry which was just then on the cusp of beginning so those who had obeyed John would receive the full benefit of the Lord’s ministry. It was also to prepare for the times ahead toward the end when the outward nation of Israel would be no more.
Now, those Israelites who refused to honor the ministry of John proved they were out of covenant with God by their own choosing and therefore never repented, were never baptized, never appropriated the golden opportunity to get right with God, never prepared their hearts for the Lord’s ministry, and had no clue their nation, their great city of Jerusalem, their great temple, and their great religion/sacrificial system/etc. was about to be destroyed forever. They had no clue that God was bringing in a NEW Covenant to supplant the OLD Covenant. The Old Covenant would thus no longer be in effect but would be superseded by the New Covenant of the Lord Jesus. This means each member of the nation of Israel must make a personal decision to adhere to the New Covenant and its terms. Obviously, those who refused would not be members of the New Covenant and most or likely all of these were already out of covenant with God anyway since they had previously violated the Old Covenant even though some of them, mainly the religious leaders and those who followed them, were convinced they were the only ones actually keeping the Old Covenant and were therefore right with God. But they were wrong and likely self-deceived due to their own “religious goodness” attained by their own false religious means.
Therefore, when speaking of “Israel” or the “nation of Israel,” it only included those who were right with God and in covenant with Him. Once the Lord Jesus came and began His ministry, those who were right with God recognized Him as they had recognized John. They therefore followed Him and obeyed Him. But whereas they correctly recognized John as a greatly anointed prophet, they also recognized the Lord Jesus as THE SON OF GOD and eventually as GOD HIMSELF. This is why the Lord created the final ultimate division among the nation of Israel between the Covenant-keepers and the Covenant-breakers. He had to establish His fold of sheep and separate them from the goats.
This means the “olive tree of Israel” (Romans 11:17, 24) that Gentiles were later grafted into contained only the Covenant-keepers of the nation of Israel (the Remnant) and the only way to be right with God once the ministry of the Lord Jesus began was to be right with the Lord Jesus. Only these were the members of Israel that comprised the tree. The unbelieving natural branches had been broken off. Yet, believing “wild” branches, the Gentiles, were grafted in. If the unbelieving natural branches repent, believe, and follow the Lord Jesus they can be grafted back in to the tree.
The common denominator between these two is belief. Therefore, being a natural member of the nation of Israel alone no longer qualified. The only qualifier is belief which is defined further as belief in the Lord Jesus who is the ultimate Common Denominator of every member of the tree. Hence, the “Cultivated Olive Tree” belongs exclusively to the Lord Jesus. And He is the Root. So we are back at our starting point in which the Lord Jesus is the only Door of salvation and Way to the Father.
Blessings

TY, RJ, for your thoughts and perspective and overview. I meant to mention that the Messiah, the Promised One, IS in fact revealed to the 12 tribes as referenced in Revelation Chapter 1, as well as in Revelation 7 (the “sealed” of Israel). I do not believe that God will forsake His promise in Romans as Paul outlined for all of Israel to be saved. How He does this wondrous work will be miraculous just as the reestablishing of Israel as a nation after 2,000 years was a supernatural miraculous act, (regardless of any corrupt political motives that may have been behind it). Yes, Yeshua is the Way! Salvation is the greatest miracle of all — and if is most humbling and powerful, because none of us deserve it. Like Paul, I stand in faith for Adonai’s great and glorious redemption for His people, Israel. God will never turn His back on His Remnant people.

Thanks Susan. Of course, the Lord has never forsaken His promises to the members of the ancient nation of Israel but did everything He could during His ministry regarding salvation and absolutely completed His course fulfilling it to the letter. At the very end while in inconceivable pain and misery while nailed to the cross He spoke very clearly and strongly in the open for all to hear using the total remainder of His strength right before death that “It is finished!” His work was then done. The only thing remaining is the same that has always been which entails the personal choice of each individual regarding the covenant of salvation. As always, it still comes down to a personal choice by each individual. The New Testament reveals no reason for some unusual secret regarding those who claim special status. Everyone is treated exactly the same whether Jew or Gentile.
The only thing that matters is individual choice. This is what the Gospel states. It was that way at the very beginning in the first century and is still that way. It did not matter then whether one was Hebrew/Israelite or Gentile though the Lord certainly went to the nation of Israel first. The apostle Paul went to great lengths explaining there was no difference in the Lord’s kingdom between Jew and Gentile or indicated any other way but the one way to enter therein. Great groups of people or large societies are never saved as whole entities. Salvation only happens one person at a time. If this logic was applied to any other country or nation one would see the fallacy. The Body of Christ as it stands at present with more people joining every day already contains many members of the ancient nation of Israel as I indicated. If fact, they were the very first. As time went on, however, fewer of them by percentage entered and more Gentiles entered.
Nevertheless, what was true in the beginning, since, and is still true now is the following: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door…”

Yes, Yeshua is the Door. The Remnant 12 Jewish tribes are mentioned in Revelation for a reason — I believe they may be saved during the Great Tribulation— but that’s for another time and discussion. Thank you, RJ. Shalom 🕊️

Thank you for this article today RJ. I woke up with so many questions about Jewish people and Israel and the war that is going on over there. Our son is on high alert to be sent over there as he is in the military service. So my thoughts are all over the place, why we need to send people over there when according to the news, Israel seems to have enough military might as most countries. But, I was wondering just that, who are the Israel people really? I have a relative who does not like them at all because he is always claiming that the Jews own everything and that they don’t like anyone who isn’t Jewish. I mentioned to that person that they are the chosen ones, so maybe they are supposed to have everything and proper. But then I hear they hate us, so why are we going over there to put our men and woman in danger for something that we don’t even understand. But your article helped to explain that not all the Jewish people stayed true to the Messiah and did not follow Jesus. As gentiles we are grafted in, that makes sense. I feel that I am no better than anyone else but equal to for believing with all of my heart in our Father and Jesus. I just don’t know about helping to fight in a war that appears to be because of religious beliefs. I just don’t know.

Thank you for a great comment, Sandra. I am impressed with your many questions and desire to know! These are questions and thoughts most people don’t seem to have, at least in my experience. I’ve been reading and studying the Word of God for a great many years but there is still so much to know by way of understanding. Yet, the New Testament is finite. There are only 27 “books,” the majority of which are letters (epistles) written in the process of mid-first century AD Christian ministry. Everything we need to know regarding Christian spiritual truth is in these writings. I have also read and studied many “apocryphal” books, some of which were supposedly genuine and purposely left out of the composite New Testament, but none of them are actually of the same veracity and quality. It is not all that difficult to perceive their inauthenticity if one knows the New Testament well and sees with spiritual eyes.
Therefore, we can come to know the answers to your questions by reading and studying the NT, especially the original foundation of the teachings of the Lord Jesus. It’s all there and is therefore not all that complicated. Unless, of course, one’s mind has been confused by extra-Biblical teachings that some have created which actually overwrite the NT and cloud one’s thinking. So in studying the Word, one also must be aware of and deal with Christian misinformation taught as doctrine depending on the denomination, etc.
One of these regards the true nature of the ancient Israelites. I call them that because the original nation stemmed at the very beginning from one man—Abraham—who had one miraculous promised son—Isaac—who had twin sons—Esau and Jacob. Esau was a purely natural man who had no desire for spiritual things or to serve God (he sold his birthright as firstborn son since he exited the womb first, which status included being the progenitor of the future Messiah, for a pot of stew). So God turned to Jacob even though he was a “conniver” with much future work to do to get right with God and serve Him properly. Jacob had twelve sons which were the progenitors of the twelve tribes which became the nation of Israel (God had later changed Jacob’s name to Israel which means “contender with God.”)
Therefore, as we fast forward through time, we understand that each individual member of the ancient nation of Israel, regardless of their original standing as “God’s chosen people” (since God chose them as the one nation in the ancient world among all the others), had a choice to make. Since God forces no one to follow or believe in Him every member had to make their own choice for God. There was a time in the early years when most did choose Him but then times occurred when most betrayed God and turned away. There was a constant up and down dynamic throughout the nation’s entire history of serving God, turning away from Him, serving Him again, and turning away. Over time the majority fell away from God by their own choice and never returned. The result was several instances of destruction and reduction of the nation. But the nation continued to exist regardless of any solid governmental structure at times due only to a relatively small Remnant of believers who stayed true to God. By New Testament times in the mid-first century AD this believing faithful Remnant was very small compared to what the nation had been at its height but also small compared to the overall nation of Israelites which existed then.
The bulk of what may be termed the “authentic” Israelites, by their own estimation, lived in the region of Judaea in the south which was basically the original area of the tribe of Judah. The “Galilean” Israelites of the north were not seen as pure or as legitimate and were somewhat looked down upon by the Judean Israelites of the south. The Samaritans in the middle region between these two were perceived by both as illegitimate Israelites but much more so by the Judeans. Judah was the original name of that land area. Judah was Jacob/Israel’s fourth son and his later tribe of descendants had been given by God the “ruling scepter” which meant it would be the ruling tribe. From this tribe came the original kings of unified Israel (Saul, David, Solomon). The Lord Jesus also descended from this tribe. He is the final eternal King, the “King of kings.” We get our NT word “Jews” from the New Testament Greek word Ἰουδαῖος Ioudaîos (ee-oo-dah’-yos). This word is otherwise translated as Judean, that is, an inhabitant of the first-century AD region of Judaea under Roman governance which also contained the city of Jerusalem. We get the word Ἰουδαῖος from the Greek word for Judah (Ἰούδα).
When the Messiah arrived, the same dynamic that had occurred previously regarding the choice of obeying and serving God was then transferred to Him. Of course, He is the same God as before but had become a Man and “dwelt among us.” It was primarily only the believing Remnant that recognized Him for who He was, though, and believed in, followed, and served Him. The majority of the remaining nation of Israel did not. In 70AD the outward nation of Israel that still retained a form of governmental structure ceased to exist forever. The nation, it’s great principal city of Jerusalem, and its temple, upon and within which the entire religious system was based, were destroyed. The previous sacrificial system of killing animals to pay for sins had no use anymore because it was superseded by the one time and all time sacrifice of the Lord Jesus for sins. The Lord also created a new spiritual nation which included both Israelites and non-Israelites (Gentiles). The New Covenant (New Testament) supplanted the Old Covenant (Old Testament).
From this we arrive at two distinctly different types of descendants of the promised miracle child Isaac (born in circa 1846BC) and his son Jacob/Israel: Those who believe in, follow, and serve the Lord Jesus as Messiah, King, and God Himself, the REAL Chosen People, and those who do not. According to the New Testament, at that time, those who did not follow the Lord Jesus had no special status other than being natural descendants of Isaac and as members of a nation which was once ruled by God. Paul writes about this status but never equates it to the spiritual status of being believers in the Lord Jesus. So, as I wrote in the article, the Lord Himself created the first great division of Isaac’s descendants by differentiating between those who believed in, followed, and served Him and those who did not. Those who did not created their own new group based upon the Pharisee Party in opposition against Him and it has been that way ever since.
It remains amazing that so many Christians have so little understanding or knowledge of this basic New Testament truth to this day though it is clearly stated within it. Much of this, if not most, is based on incorrect teachings which subvert the clarity of New Testament Scripture on the subject.
The only question which remains then, is whether this lack of understanding and misinformation occurred primarily unintentionally by Christian teachers who lacked accurate New Testament knowledge or intentionally by those who desired to subvert New Testament truth in this area as part of an evil agenda. Regarding the latter, there is MUCH more to this particular story which we will save for a later time.

I look forward to hearing more on this subject. Thank you very much for this clarification. I mentioned I woke up confused and thinking about all of this and then I turned to you right away, and there you had written exactly what I needed to hear. Even though there is more to understand. I appreciate your teachings and experience in these matters as you help us to understand.

Thank you Sandra. Again, I appreciate you and your husband for allowing me to share the knowledge with which the Lord has blessed me. There is so much more to this story but this WP medium is limited. I have lost most of my readership in part because of what I suffered in March which I have recovered from in part, but also likely because of stronger content. There is still some New Testament truth that is shunned by many Christians. This current subject on the Real Chosen People is likely one that many Christians have the biggest problem with, though based on a lack of understanding. It could be that I will only have just a few students left here though not so long ago this site was doing relatively quite well. The main thing for me, however, is being here for my readers like yourself, whom I honor and am blessed to have. In the meantime keep doing your own research on the matter. Go where the Lord leads. Read Part 2 of this series when able. I will end up with at least five parts. Thanks for your prayers. Blessings to you

There could be many reading it but are afraid to comment because of the fear of cancel culture. What you write is way more important than those who are trying to silence the truth.

Thank you. I understand the possible trepidation on the part of my readers and I know such fear is true in part in that some readers wish to remain anonymous, but my stats are down also. There could be other factors in play if you get my drift. I used to pay attention to my stats years ago when they were very good because when you have a message you need readers but I stopped paying attention to such for various reasons one of which was the inability to increase readership organically (word of mouth). The readership is often too fluid (here today gone tomorrow). Another factor is flat out disagreement without doing the proper research into the subject. Truth causes division. Regarding your earlier comment when you expressed concern about the ME war brewing most American Christians do not know this was well planned for quite a while and will escalate by design though the media is presenting it as something which simply occurred out of nowhere which must be responded to. If you want some excellent up-to-date information on the brewing war and possible/likely future scenario, watch the Tucker Carlson/Douglas Macgregor video dated October 23, 2023 here: https://futuredefensevisions.blogspot.com/
